Ethan Garcia is a proud Mexican American. The rising senior at Cambridge Rindge and Latin devotes his time to serving his community, whether it’s at his local church or homeless shelter. Ethan is also committed to his school community, as seen through his club participation, including leading the CRLS Model UN team. Ethan is also an accomplished rower. He is a multiple time state champion and recently placed top 10 in New England. Ethan applied to CHCI NextGen to learn more about how he can be a better advocate for the Latino community. He applied to also learn how he can be the change he wants to see in public health policy, which is an issue that affects his family along with the Latino community as a whole.
