Alina Rios is a high school junior from Oregon. As she finishes her third year, she is eager to explore new opportunities to learn more about her culture and find ways to support her community. She is familiar with programs like CHCI NextGen, having previously studied abroad in the summer of 2024. Alina enjoys meeting new people and stepping outside of her comfort zone. She actively seeks out experiences that help her grow, broaden her perspective, and strengthen her college resume. She’s especially excited to travel to Washington, D.C.—this will be her third time visiting the nation’s capital!
