Juan Romero is a proud Colombian student and the middle child of three siblings who has lived in the United States for the past four years. He currently attends Tuscarora High School in Maryland as an honors student. With a strong passion for music, Juan enjoys using it as a creative outlet. One of his goals is to become a teacher, inspired by his ability to communicate and connect with others. He believes education is a powerful tool for change and hopes to inspire the next generation, just as his teachers have inspired him. Juan applied to CHCI NextGen to prepare for his future and college while developing important leadership and academic skills. He is excited to grow and represent his community with pride.
