CHCI officially launched Hispanic Heritage Month last night with its Kickoff Reception in honor of Hispanics in Service and Veterans.  Several hundred people turned out to hear CHCI Chair Rep. Nydia M. Velázquez and Rep. Solomon Ortiz thank the men and women who sacrifice so much for our freedoms.

The Conference jumps into full swing today with several powerful policy sessions featuring three U.S. cabinet secretaries and several Members of Congress taking place at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington D.C.
