| Thank you to everyone who joined CHCI and the CHCI Alumni Association, in collaboration with the Congressional Hispanic Staff Association (CHSA), to celebrate the recipients of the 2025 Congressional Staff Award, Carlos Paz, Jr. and Alía Fierro. It was a powerful evening highlighting Latino leadership, the impact of mentorship, and the importance of investing in our community.We were proud to honor Carlos Paz, Jr., Chief of Staff to Rep. Jimmy Gomez (CA-34), and Alía Fierro, Senior Policy Advisor on Housing for the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee under Ranking Member Sen. Elizabeth Warren (MA). The program opened with remarks from CHCI President and CEO Marco Davis and CHCI Board Chair Rep. Darren Soto (FL-09), who underscored that both honorees are known throughout the Hill for their thoughtful leadership and commitment to helping others succeed. |
