The Golf Experience

Have you ever wondered why so many people love to play golf, wished you could hold your own in conversations with friends, family members, or business associates when the topic turns to golf? Have you ever avoided golf because you never considered yourself to be an athlete, or believed that becoming a good golfer is too time-consuming?

If so, come out in support of CHCI’s Fiesta de Golf Tournament and experience the game of golf with Marian Geist, LPGA Teaching Professional Member

This one-hour long, group experience offers the perfect amount of information, experimentation, and satisfaction. All equipment will be supplied. All you have to do is SIGN UP! Athletic shoes and casual attire is recommended (no blue jeans) or you can use this as an excuse to go shopping and treat yourself to a new golf outfit.

Simple Wellness Program

Smoothies are a popular health food craze. But are they really healthy? Some smoothies are loaded with sugar, fat, calories and other unhealthy ingredients that can have a negative impact on your health. The question is: What's in your smoothie?

During this one-hour Summer Slim-Down Smoothie session with Tonya Parker, participants will learn about some of the most powerful ingredients that can be added to smoothies to pack a powerful yet delicious healthy punch, and what ingredients to avoid.

Sample smoothies will include:

Sunrise Breakfast – For the breakfast-skipper, this delicious recipe will help you indulge in the most important meal of the day.

Green Machine – Boosting your daily dose of vegetables has never been easier.

Sweet Tooth – Calling all chocolate lovers! You won’t believe this rich and creamy smoothie is also good for you.

Wine Tasting and Pairing Education

After the golf clinic and smoothie lesson, you will have a delightful walk through varietals from Sonoma County, California, and learn about the grapes, fermentation process, and how to pair wine with just the right dish. Chef Adam Harrell, a Cordon Bleu graduate of Johnson and Wales University and head of the Fine Wine Team at Reliable Churchill, has created a spectacular tasting menu and has paired these scrumptious small plates with wines from a variety of vineyards.

Ferrari Carano Fume Blanc (Sonoma, California) Roasted Carrot Bisque with Broiled Feta and Orange-Chive Oil
