Every fall The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, (CHCI) hosts its landmark Annual Awards Gala and Public Policy Conference in Washington, D.C. These widely attended events gather industry and community leaders to celebrate the achievements of the Latino community.
The Annual Awards Gala is the hallmark event during Hispanic Heritage Month in Washington, D.C., and serves as the unifying event for the Hispanic American community. The Gala program each year is developed around a unifying theme that helps to highlight CHCI, its mission and programs, the annual Chair's Award(s), and the CHCI Medallion of Excellence honoree (s). This year's theme is "Celebrating History, Heritage, and the American Dream".
A 32-year tradition, The Public Policy Conference and Annual Awards Gala raise more than 60 percent of the Institute' s revenue for its programs, which develop the next generation of Latino leaders.

33rd ANNUAL AWARDS GALA
The Awards Gala gathers industry and government leaders to celebrate the achievements of the Latino community with a unique theme. An energizing and unifying event, the Awards Gala provides supporters and friends of the Institute to network while honoring the annual Chair's Award(s), and the CHCI Medallion of Excellence honoree(s).
PUBLIC POLICY CONFERENCE
Expert plenary sessions and summits delve into critical issues facing the Latino community and the United States through lively discussion and audience participation at this two-day conference. Job and internship seekers visit CareerLider LIVE to interact with recruiters about employment opportunities and strategic initiatives spearheaded by participating companies and organizations.
REYES OF COMEDY
Laughter echoes through the nation's capitol while rising and seasoned Latino talent takes the stage at the Warner Theatre in support of CHCI's nationally recognized programs. Reyes of Comedy presents a humorous portrait of Hispanic American life and celebrated Latino talent in the heart of comic relief. This event provides sponsors the opportunity to enjoy entertainment in a relaxed networking situation.

FIESTA de GOLF SCHOLARSHIP CHALLENGE

Sponsors, supporters and friends hit the green for a great cause each year at the Challenge to support CHCI's scholarship program. Now in its 14th year the Challenge affords more than 136 scholarships to Latino youth to pursue higher educational pursuits. Sponsors receive the opportunity to interact socially with CHCI scholars, board members, community leaders and special guests.
CHCI's events extend beyond its Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Awards Gala and Public Policy Conference providing sponsors the opportunity to become a patron of premier events year-round that support CHCI's nationally recognized youth leadership and development programs--scholarships, fellowships and internships.
