2009 Hispanic Heritage Month Highlights
CHCI's Hispanic Heritage Month events were a huge success, drawing national leaders from every corner of the nation and every facet of society.
More than 800 people attended the 2009 Public Policy Conference themed, "Latinos Leading in a Global Society." CHCI's 9th Annual Reyes of Comedy brought down the house with more than 900 people enjoying the hilarious routines of five established Latino comedians.
The hallmark event of Hispanic Heritage Month, CHCI's 32nd Annual Awards Gala, drew more than 2,200 guests, including 62 Members of Congress, ambassadors, celebrities, dignitaries, CHCI sponsors, fellows, and alumni.
