Former CHCI Chair Charles A. Gonzalez and CHCI Vice Chair Cristina Antelo Were Honored at the USHLI National Conference

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) congratulates former Chair, the Honorable Charles A. Gonzales and current Vice Chair Cristina Antelo, who were recognized during the 35th Annual USHLI National Conference for their outstanding service to the Latino community.

As Chair of the CHCI, the former congressman oversaw the growth of our leadership programs, which lead to more students having the opportunity to develop their careers in Washington D.C. For this and his many other accomplishments, Congressman Gonzalez will received the Henry B. Gonzalez | Edward R. Roybal Distinguished Service Award.

Outside of CHCI, Cristina Antelo brings a wealth of experience from the finance sector to public affairs and government relations. As Vice Chair of CHCI, Cristina has showcased her talents as a formidable and effective leader, leading the efforts to modernize the CHCI and select our new President & CEO, Domenika Lynch. For her tireless commitment to service and excellence in her career, Cristina Antelo was awarded the Mickey Ibarra Medallion for Excellence in Government Relations.
