CHCI is pleased to announce the selection of its next generation President and CEO, Domenika Lynch. Lynch comes to CHCI from Los Angeles where she currently serves as the executive director of the Latino Alumni Association (LAA) at the University of Southern California (USC). She will take the lead of CHCI on July 1, 2016.

Today, CHCI welcomed its 2016 Summer Congressional Internship class. Thirty-eight undergraduate students traveled from 17 states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, to take part in the nationally recognized CHCI Congressional Internship Program (CIP).

On May 10th, 138 supporters joined CHCI for a day of golfing during the 20th Annual Fiesta de Golf Tournament, held at Renditions Golf Course. With the help of our guests, CHCI raised more than $240,805 in support of leadership development programs.

On April 27, CHCI celebrated the 2016 Joint Spring Graduation Ceremony, honoring the 21 2015-2016 CHCI Public Policy & Graduate Fellows and the 22 CHCI 2016 Spring Congressional Interns (CIP). A total of 43 future Latino leaders participated in a dynamic ceremony held at the U.S. Library of Congress to celebrate the completion of their respective programs and their entry into the prestigious CHCI Alumni Association.
