Carlos Humberto Rivas

Carlos is the Staff Accountant on the Finance Team. Some of his responsibilities include receiving information about CHCI sponsors and processing documents, noting received checks, and uploading new sponsor information. 

Carlos, a native of El Salvador, loves working at CHCI because of the organization’s mission—it gives him a sense of purpose. He loves that CHCI helps the next generation of Latinos prepare for their bright futures. 

One of his favorite CHCI events is the annual gala hosted in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Carlos loves this event because every department comes together as one to host one of the largest Latino gatherings in the country with a spectacular host, amazing entertainment, great food, and more. He also enjoys his time at the gala because he gets to hear from so many people about the impact CHCI has on the Latino community.
