CHCI- Prudential Congressional Intern
Hometown: Elmhurst, New York
School: City University of New York – Baruch College
Major: Economics
Placement: The Office of Representative Yvette Clarke

Anthony was born and raised in Queens, NY as the only son of two Mexican immigrants. Growing up, Anthony was taught that be successful one must simply go to college and get a job. However, now we live in an age where that no longer is the case. Success in today’s world means doing what makes you happy and help and lift others up.

Anthony is a rising senior at Baruch College where he is studying Economics with a minor in Communication studies. He is a part of various programs including SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity), MLT (Management Leadership for Tomorrow), and ALPFA (Association of Latino Professionals for America) where he was fortunate enough to participate in internships for various fortune 500 companies including his current job at Barclays. Anthony plans to work in the financial services sector post Baruch but his dream is to help youth. Anthony hopes to work in the educational system someday mentoring kids and teaching them about different career tracks. As a CHCI intern, Anthony hopes to have a better understanding on how political change is made and what he can do to help.
