Eduardo Fox-Velazquez was born in Chiapas, Mexico. His family moved to Florida in 2002 pursuing greater economic opportunities. He grew up in a biracial, bicultural, and bilingual home where he learned to value hard work and empathy for others. Through it all, Eduardo wants to help build a more equitable world. As a first-year and first-generation college student at the University of South Florida, his personal and professional goals are to level the playing field and help provide access to educational and economic opportunities for the disenfranchised, and this includes identifying new ideas yet utilized.
As a CHCI and CAMP intern, Eduardo aspires to better understand the skills and experience needed to improve the quality of life for low income families, and he is excited to work with and learn from other like-minded and passionate people.
