Eduardo J. García Cáliz is a multilingual leader studying Business & Administration at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras. He is driven and inspired by his family, mentors, friends and his home island, Puerto Rico. The current political-economic crisis in Puerto Rico motivates Eduardo to overcome each obstacle faced and continue growing to be one of the many leaders that the Island needs to achieve a high standard of performance.
He has had the opportunity to explore different sectors of the professional world. He’s participated in the nonprofit organization AIESEC, as the National Accounting Project Manager. He has interned at the House of Representatives of the United States at the office of the Congresswoman of Puerto Rico, Jenniffer González-Colón and in one of the “Big Four” accounting firms, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in San Jose, California.
As a CHCI intern, Eduardo intends to further enhance his leadership skills through professional development as well as expand and solidify his network of future professional leaders that aim strive for high achievement and learn as much as he can about how the government operates.
