“When I got accepted into the R2L NextGen program, it felt unreal. Flying across the country with complete strangers was even more elusive. Now that this week has come to an end, I leave as an empowered Latina ready to take on any debate. I’m so thankful that I was presented with this amazing opportunity. I feel absolutely privileged to have met such talented, knowledgeable, and inspiring people. Even though we are all from different and distinctive places, never once did I feel out of place.”
