New media and technology have transformed the way we share information and engage with others, including civic engagement. This plenary will highlight effective use of social media to convene and mobilize an impactful social justice activism campaign. The discussion will examine best practices and strategies for social media activism to foster social justice, spark civic engagement, and promote social consciousness.
