CHCI is seeking full-time college undergraduate students who are interested in participating in the 2016 Summer Congressional Internship Program. Selected individuals will receive an unmatched experience, learning first-hand about our nation’s legislative process while working for a member of Congress and receiving weekly leadership programming from CHCI.

Benefits

Participants of the Congressional Internship Program will receive benefits including a round-trip airfare to Washington, D.C., $2,500 stipend, free housing, academic credit, leadership training, networking, and more.

Selection Process

The selection process is competitive. CHCI receives over 10 applications for every one available internship opportunity. The CHCI Alumni Review Committee reviews applications to identify the most qualified candidates. CHCI staff will select top candidates for internship positions.
