Attention! Deadline Extended for CHCI’s R2L NextGen Program!

Due to an overwhelming amount of interest, we have decided to extend the deadlines for CHCI’s R2L NextGen Program. Apply now and don’t miss your chance to be a part of this week-long leadership and civic engagement program for high school students currently in 9th, 10th, and 11th grades.
CHCI will bring 40-50 Latino high school students to D.C. to learn about how the Federal Government works, meet key leaders, visit historic sites and develop a deeper understanding of how they can affect positive change in their communities and their nation– ALL EXPENSES PAID!.
Extended Deadline: Friday, March 25, 2016 at 11:59 pm EST
Atlanta: In order to be eligible to apply, students must reside in Fulton or DeKalb County.
Chicago: In order to be eligible to apply, student must reside in Cook County.
East and South Bay, California: In order to be eligible to apply, students must live in Alameda or Santa Clara County.
Phoenix: In order to be eligible to apply, students must reside in Maricopa County.
Extended Deadline: Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 11:59 pm EST
Dallas: In order to be eligible to apply, students must reside in Dallas or Tarrant County.
Students who wish to apply must:
- Be a current 9th, 10th, or 11th grade student
- Demonstrate interest in learning more about civic engagement
- Reside in one of the following geographic regions identified for eligibility, including: Atlanta • Chicago • Dallas/Fort Worth • Phoenix • and Southern California
