CHCI Introduces New Logo and Brand Identity

Dear CHCI Alumni and Friends,
Happy 2018! The start of the new year allows us the opportunity to reset priorities, create the intention for what matters, and set the tone for what comes next.
In 1978, Hispanic Members of Congress established a leadership institute that would serve as a pipeline to Latino talent to Congress and across industries. It’s through the extraordinary efforts of committed leaders that CHCI will celebrate its 40-year milestone in 2018 and the 20th anniversary of the CHCI Alumni Association.
We are proud to announce the launch of a new logo and website as part of our 40th-anniversary celebration. This milestone signals the evolution of the institute.
I’m proud to introduce our new CHCI logo. This modern look pays tribute to the power of the 40 years CHCI has dedicated to preparing emerging Latino leaders for a 21st century economy to become architects of their own destiny.
— Congressman Joaquin Castro, CHCI Chair
While much has changed since CHCI’s founding, our traditions and principles are as strong as ever. We retained the capital icon used in our original logo but modified the font to be bold and visible to enhance our digital presence and best position CHCI as the premier Latinx Leadership Institute of the 21st Century. I hope that you are as excited about it as I am.

I am especially grateful to the CHCI board of directors, advisory council members, alumni and staff for their contributions, encouragement, and expertise in bringing forth these new changes.
I look forward to continuing to be bold and innovative together in 2018 and beyond!
Sincerely,
Domenika Lynch
