At this year’s Leadership Luncheon, CHCI will recognize the outstanding accomplishments of (2) Latino leaders from our esteemed alumni network. CHCI will honor Alejandra Y. Castillo with the 2019 Medallion of Excellence for a Distinguished Alumnus and Alma N. Acosta with the Young Alumnus Award.

The Medallion of Excellence for a Distinguished Alumnus recognizes a CHCI alumnus who has made an outstanding contribution to the Latino Community and who has thereby achieved distinction. This prestigious annual award is meant to highlight the impact of CHCI’s programs and the prominence of its alumni. Those considered are judged on the full range of their professional and community accomplishments.

The CHCI Young Alumnus Award was created to spotlight the diversity of the growing CHCI Alumni body. Commemorating an alumnus who completed their CHCI leadership program within the past ten years, recipients exemplify dedicated civic engagement and leadership in the Latino Community.
