State Farm Renews Long-Standing Commitment to CHCI and Developing the Next Generation of Latino Leaders
WASHINGTON, DC - The Congressional Hispanic Institute (CHCI)’s longtime supporter State Farm once again renewed…
CHCI hosted its third Industry Breakfast on Thursday, July 14, as part of its ongoing, comprehensive effort to positively impact diversity and open doors for talented Latino youth across all sectors. The event focused on the areas of education, workforce, trade, tax and transportation. Future events will address workforce diversity in the area of homeland security.
CHCI’s Industry Breakfast Series bring together stakeholders from targeted sectors to engage in a meaningful conversation on how to address the lack of diversity in key industries and how to tap into the Latino talent pipeline as a solution to the problem.
CHCI would like to thank UPS for hosting this timely event. We would also like to recognize the outstanding support of Herbalife, H&R Block, Mary Kay, National Association of Minority Automotive Dealers, PepsiCo, SHRM, Target and Walmart for their commitment to this new diversity initiative and supporting the next generation of Latino leaders.
