2018 R2L NextGen Participants – Week Two

With the support of founding sponsor State Farm®; Ford Fund; Southwest Airlines, the official airline of CHCI Leadership Programs; Macy’s, the official R2L NextGen wardrobe sponsor; and regional sponsors, CHCI hosted of two cohorts of R2L NextGen students during the summer of 2018. A record 100 high school students from thirteen different regions, including Puerto Rico, were selected to participate in the highly competitive program and developed a deeper understanding of their role as engaged citizens.

CHCI congratulates the 51 R2L NextGen participants who joined us in D.C. during the second week of the program, July 15-20, 2018, to learn about how the Federal Government works, the importance of being civically engaged, and how they can affect positive change in their communities.
