Dr. Gabriela Sosa is a restoration ecologist leading projects that assist in the recovery of ecosystems that have been degraded, damaged, or destroyed. As a policy and technical subject-matter expert, she has published in the Harvard Journal of Hispanic Policy. Dr. Sosa has conducted natural resource assessments for non-profit organizations, federal agencies, and international projects in Southeast Asia and South America. Since 2022, Dr. Sosa has served as the President of the Houston Chapter of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) Alumni Association (AA). She earned her Ph.D. in Ecosystem Science and Management from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, and completed CHCI-API Graduate Fellowship in 2015-2016.
