John is part of the Government Affairs team for T-Mobile US where he is responsible for the development and acquisition of electromagnetic spectrum, cyber security and national security programs. Prior to his current role Mr. Hunter served several years in government with the National Telecommunications & Information Administration (NTIA), the Department of Defense OSD/CIO’s office, and the Drug Enforcement Administration, serving as an advisor on spectrum policy and strategic planning. With over 20 years of experience in the wireless industry, Mr. Hunter has served in a variety of leadership and engineering roles and is also an eight-year veteran with the US Army Signal Corps. He is a graduate of Liberty University.
