MARISA MORET

Ms. Moret has over 25 years of experience as a lawyer, advocate and strategic advisor to businesses, entrepreneurs, and government officials.

Currently, Ms. Moret is a Global Director at Airbnb, a platform that offers hosted travel and the ability to live anywhere on a global scale. Founded in 2008, Airbnb continues to innovate and lead the way in helping people make travel their way of life. Ms. Moret serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Chief of Staff for the Global Policy and Communications Team.

Prior to joining Airbnb, Ms. Moret served as Chief of Staff to San Francisco City Attorney Dennis Herrera for over a decade. The office is considered one of the leading municipal law offices in the nation. Earlier in her career she was an equity partner with the Nossaman law firm.

Ms. Moret has held numerous leadership positions including board level roles at the California Coastal Conservancy and St. Mary’s Medical Center Foundation. She currently serves on the Advisory Boards of Latinas in Tech, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (SF), and the US Spain Council. Ms. Moret has been recognized as a Leading Latina by Hispanic Executive, a Trail Blazer by Forbes Magazine and Top Corporate Executive by Latina Style Magazine.

Ms. Moret was selected as one of ten students to participate in the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s Summer High School Program (Class of 1987) and was also selected as one of ten US professionals selected to participate in the 2013 Young Leaders Program sponsored by the US Spain Council. Ms. Moret is a graduate of Georgetown University and UCLA’s School of Law and currently resides in San Francisco, California.
