Sandra Cano is an Executive Talent Acquisition professional with 20 years of experience. Sandra joined Visa Inc. in January of 2018. In addition to Executive recruiting, she has participated in diversity hiring initiatives, served as leader for the Hispanic Forum Northern California chapter, and has a deep passion for advancing women in technology.
She came to Visa Inc. from GE where she help built the GE Digital Executive team and managed the Technical Recruiting function for three business organizations in North America and Latino America. Prior to GE, she worked at Microsoft Corporation and owned her own recruiting business focused on emerging technology start-up companies.
Sandra has unique experience in agency and corporate environments with background in sourcing as well as full cycle recruitment. Apart from North America, she has worked and managed recruiting functions in LATAM, Europe and Asia.
Born and raised in Mexico City. Sandra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources Certificate from Universidad Iberoamericana. A post graduate degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University. Outside of work, you can find Sandra traveling around the world with her husband and son, Zumba dancing and cooking.
