Uel Trejo-Rivera is an advocate who resides in San Antonio, Texas and has dedicated her time to giving back to her community. After graduating from the University of North Texas, she pursued her passion in housing and policy by becoming a local grassroots advocate in San Antonio.
Uel finished her internship for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute in the summer of 2021. Uel has been able to create connections to further her goal of bettering her community through volunteer work and legislative action. Uel is looking to create a strong chapter in San Antonio for other alums to connect with one another and strive for success through relationships. She currently spends most of her time engaging with local advocates, spending time with family, and tending to her garden.
