CHCI-AA Elections

CALL FOR VOTING

The CHCI Alumni Association (CHCI-AA) is excited to announce the opening of nominations for the 2027-2028 Board. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to CHCI, support alumni engagement, and help shape the future of the alumni community.

We are seeking dynamic and motivated individuals to join the board and contribute their time, energy, and talents to further the association’s mission. If you or someone you know would be a great fit, we encourage you to submit a nomination.

The term for all positions is two (2) years beginning January 1, 2027, ending on December 31, 2028.

  • Nomination Period: Monday, Sept 21 – Sunday, Oct 4
  • Voting Period: Monday, Oct 19 – Monday, November 2
  • Board Announced: Week of November 23

To submit a nomination, please complete the nomination form below by Sunday, October 4, 2026. Self-nominations are welcome! The nomination should include the following:

  • Name and contact information of the nominee or self
  • Program participation and year 
  • Statement of interest explaining why you want to run for the CHCI-AA elected office indicated, your qualifications, and your history of engagement with CHCI/CHCI-AA.
  • High-resolution headshot
  • Optional: 2-minute video. As part of your candidacy for the Alumni Association National Board, you are invited to submit a brief video, up to two minutes, introducing yourself and sharing why you are interested in serving. The video
    • In your video, we recommend sharing:
      • Your name and CHCI program/cohort
      • The position you are running for
      • Why you are interested in serving on the Alumni Association Board
      • The experience, perspective, or skills you would bring to the role
      • What you hope to contribute to the CHCI alumni community
    • Video Best Practices
      • Keep your video to two minutes or less.
      • Speak naturally and authentically. There is no need for a highly produced video.
      • Record in a quiet, well-lit space with minimal background distractions.
      • Position your camera at eye level and look directly into the camera when possible.
      • Make sure your audio is clear before recording.
      • Focus on your key messages rather than reading from a script.
