Senior Director, Alumni Affairs
Patty D. Mendoza is the Senior Director of Alumni Affairs at CHCI. She leads our nationwide alumni engagement efforts by offering continued educational resources and networking opportunities to former program participants. Patty previously served as the Director of the Henry G. Cisneros Institute for Emerging Leaders at Texas A&M University-San Antonio, where she worked to provide opportunities for students and community members to continue their leadership and professional development growth.
As a first-generation college student, her interests align with the intersectionality of race, social justice, and educational equity. Working at CHCI allows Patty to continue supporting Latinx community leaders who are making positive contributions to their communities. Patty is the daughter of immigrant parents from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, and was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and trying new restaurants.
