Vivian Morales is a Project Manager in the Real Estate & Asset Management Department at the Massachusetts Port Authority, where she supports the Economic Development Unit. She began her work at Massport as the Lowell L. Richards Fellow, supporting the department’s efforts before transitioning into her current full-time role. As Project Manager, she leads Massport’s placemaking initiative, working to activate public spaces and strengthen connections between Massport and community stakeholders.

Prior to her current role, Vivian served as both an undergraduate and graduate research assistant, supporting research on housing and community development while contributing to public sector and nonprofit initiatives. Her policy experience includes internships with the Senate Joint Economic Committee through the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), the Michigan House of Representatives, and the Michigan State Housing Development Authority.

Vivian earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Urban & Regional Planning from Michigan State University, with a minor in Cities: Environment, Design, and Society. Originally from the Chicagoland area, Vivian is a first-generation college graduate and the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants. She helped establish the CHCI Boston Alumni Chapter out of a commitment to civic responsibility and a desire to create opportunities for alumni to connect, engage, and give back.
