Alexis Gallardo Foreman

Dr. Alexis Gallardo Foreman is a doctorally prepared Nurse Practitioner and clinical leader with over 15 years of experience dedicated to advancing health equity and reducing disparities within marginalized populations. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Regis College and a Master’s in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University, combining a deep background in cultural competemility training with advanced clinical practice. Currently serving as the Co-Director of both the Chronic Respiratory Failure Clinic and the Tobacco Dependence Treatment program at Boston Medical Center, Dr. Gallardo Foreman has successfully designed and scaled innovative, multilingual, and multidisciplinary care models.

Her notable achievements include co-developing a COPD readmission reduction program that lowered hospital-wide readmissions to 17.9%, securing funding for accessible patient education materials, and leading system-wide tobacco cessation initiatives. Deeply committed to institutional equity, she actively serves on multiple Equity, Vitality, and Inclusion committees and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) leadership councils.
