Diego Branneria

Diego Branneria is a community leader and high school student from California. He is passionate about serving his community and helping others. Through scouting and his pursuit of the Eagle Scout rank, Diego has developed a strong commitment to service and leadership. He serves as a youth representative to the school board and sits on the Common Sense Media Youth Advisory Board. He is co-president of a peer education and advocacy club, where he has presented to community members and the city council on policy.

As a nationally competitive athlete, Diego has medaled at youth nationals for rowing. Diego applied to CHCI NextGen because he wants to become a stronger leader, connect with others, and learn how to better serve Latino communities. He works hard to honor his family’s immigrant story, making the most of every opportunity and doing everything “con ganas.”
