Evan Aguilar

Evan Aguilar is a proud Latino student leader from Redlands, California, with a strong passion for government and public service. He was elected Executive President of Redlands East Valley High School’s Associated Student Body, guiding a team of campus leaders to increase student engagement through advocacy and community-building initiatives. Evan also volunteers with the PossAbilites Club, aspiring to create a more inclusive school environment.

His commitment to public service extends beyond the classroom. As the Student Commissioner on the City of Redlands Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission, Evan provides a youth perspective on local policies, programs, and public spaces. Driven by a commitment to civic participation and community leadership, Evan hopes to pursue a career in public service and public policy. He applied to CHCI NextGen to deepen his understanding of government, connect with other emerging Latino leaders, and develop the skills necessary to make a meaningful impact in his community.
