2026 NextGen Latino Leadership Program

Felipe Ashton

Felipe Ashton is a high school student in Miami, Florida. Driven by the dual need for stronger international relations and technological innovation, he serves as a Miami-Dade County Youth Commissioner, where he has advocated for initiatives aimed at combating international human trafficking, which have strengthened Miami’s role in addressing this form of crime.

He is also the co-founder and CEO of Codepreneur Network, an organization dedicated to empowering Latin American youth through entrepreneurship, programming, and innovation. Felipe believes that 21st-century success will be determined by understanding the important role that technology and globalization play in the development of society, and he actively advocates for fostering a sense of global citizenship in the United States. He chose to participate in CHCI NextGen because it encourages youth across the nation to strengthen their leadership skills, engage with Latino leaders, and further their commitment to creating meaningful public impact.
