Harold Pacheco Macedas

Harold Pacheco is a dedicated student and passionate leader at Manhattan Village Academy. He is a proud son of hardworking immigrant parents who encourage him and his siblings to be the best versions of themselves. He is committed to pursuing a career in politics. He applied to CHCI NextGen because growing up in the South Bronx, an area where opportunities feel scarce, pushed him to seek those opportunities whenever they arise.

He is a scholar in the SEO program, an eight-year program that gets students to and through college. As a grade senator, he represents his peers and advocates for their needs. Harold stays informed on current events and political issues that shape his perspectives and allow him to engage in meaningful discussions. Through these experiences, he builds the skills necessary to become a great Latino leader and make a meaningful impact on his community.
