Ian Simon

Ian Simon is a sophomore at West Career Technical Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he is enrolled in the Engineering Program. As a student from a proud Mexican family, he is passionate about STEM, leadership, and community engagement. Ian is actively involved in HOSA, Engineering Club. Over the past two years, he has completed more than 250 hours of community service, including serving as a school ambassador, where he represents his school and helps support students, families, and community events. Academically, he has completed four AP courses and is committed to pursuing higher education and a career in engineering. Ian applied to CHCI NextGen to strengthen his leadership skills, connect with fellow Latino leaders, and learn how to make a meaningful impact in his community and beyond.
