Isabella Garcia

Isabella Garcia is a student leader from Wenatchee, Washington, inspired by her hardworking family of Honduran immigrants whose values shaped her ambitions. She serves as the first chairwoman of her local Junior City Council and president of her regional Health District Advisory Board. Isabella is also a national competitor for her FCCLA sustainability project and contributes to a student team that helps her school district save more than $10,000 each month in energy costs.

As a participant in CHCI NextGen, Isabella looks forward to connecting with others and connecting with representatives on climate initiatives. She is passionate about bridging environmental science and public policy and hopes to help Washington expand and strengthen clean energy policies for a more sustainable future.
