2026 NextGen Latino Leadership Program
Isabella Kane
Isabella Carolina Kane, the youngest of four sisters from Plano, Texas, is a proud mix of Panamanian and Mexican heritage. In addition to being a dedicated musician, she is a curious STEM student. Isabella positively impacts her community through her leadership roles in her school’s band, participation in organizations such as National Honor Society (NHS), National Art Honors Society, and Spanish NHS, and her determination as an athlete on the basketball court.
She enjoys spending her time in various clubs such as philosophy club and is always open to learning new hobbies that utilize her creativity. Through CHCI NextGen, she hopes to gain knowledge of how federal agencies foster scientific research and use those skills to inspire more Latinas in STEM.
