Jacquelin Gasca-Rodriguez
Jacquelin Gasca-Rodriguez is a first-generation, Mexican-American sixteen-year-old from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She attends William W. Bodine High School for International affairs in where she found a passion for global policy. At her time at Bodine, she has taken over leadership roles such as a student ambassador, proudly representing her school in events such as open houses or in different countries such as China and Japan. In addition to her student ambassador role, she has also gained leadership titles of captain in both of her sports (soccer and softball).
Growing up in South Philadelphia, she was surrounded by a strong Latino community and this foundation led her to become passionate in helping her community who taught and gave her so much during such a difficult time. She continues to try and help make a change not only with her Latino community, but also with communities represented across Bodine by advocating for Palestine and Sudan for example. Her passion for helping make a change and helping different communities along with involvement has helped her strive in achieving many different leadership roles to help those around her, including her participation in CHCI NextGen.
