Jeroboam Leiva

Coming from Spartanburg, South Carolina, Jeroboam Leiva is a civic leader, aspiring attorney, and passionate advocate for public service. He has expanded his leadership through Junior Leadership Spartanburg, the HOBY State Leadership Seminar, and Palmetto Boys State, where he engaged with government institutions, public officials, and community leaders. This summer, Jeroboam is interning with the Seventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office, gaining firsthand experience in the legal system and public service.

He has also conducted research on immigration law and policy and presented his findings at the Southeast Immigration Conference at UNC Charlotte. He applied to CHCI NextGen to deepen his understanding of the legislative process, strengthen his leadership skills, and prepare for a career dedicated to public service and advocacy.
