Kevin Santiago-Jimenez is a proud Wilsonian from Eastern North Carolina and the son of two Indigenous immigrants from Puebla and Oaxaca, Mexico. A rising senior at Wilson Academy of Applied Technology, he is pursuing both his high school diploma and dual associate degrees in Arts and Business Administration. Kevin plans to continue his education by studying Public Health and Public Policy, with the goal of advancing equitable opportunities for underserved communities.

His leadership involvement includes serving as North Carolina HOSA President-Elect, participating in youth mental health and civic engagement initiatives, and advocating for young people through local, state, and national organizations. Kevin applied to CHCI NextGen to strengthen his leadership skills, connect with fellow Latino changemakers, and gain the knowledge and experience needed to create meaningful change for Latino communities across the country.
