Melina Juarez

Melina Juarez is an active leader from Indianapolis, Indiana, where she attends Ben Davis High School. She strives not just to be the best student, but also a good person. Besides taking the most advanced classes offered to her, she has a true passion for business. From having created her own dessert business at the beginning of her freshman year to becoming a state officer for Indiana DECA, business has been the true drive for Melina’s academic journey. She’s also president of the ENL student ambassador club at her school, which helps new English speakers acclimate to their new community.

As a participant in CHCI NextGen, she looks forward to growing her leadership skills and strengthening her passion for pursuing a career in law. She strives to become a lawyer and manage her own firm. Melina’s biggest source of motivation is her faith, which her parents instilled in her: “Dios contigo, nadie contra ti,” keeping her grounded in the belief that success stems from true passion and hard work; nobody can stand in the way of that.
