Mia Urzua

Mia Urzua is a dedicated student leader and aspiring attorney who is passionate about civic engagement, advocacy, and empowering her community. As a Latina student, she takes pride in her cultural heritage and strives to create opportunities for others through leadership and service. Mia has been actively involved in student leadership, community initiatives, and programs that promote student voice, inclusion, and representation.

She is particularly interested in law, public policy, and social justice, and hopes to use these fields to make a meaningful impact on underserved communities. Mia applied to CHCI NextGen to strengthen her leadership skills, connect with other young Latino leaders, and gain the knowledge and experience needed to become an effective advocate for her community and future generations.
