Olvin Avila Isaula

Olvin Avila Isaula is a proud Hondureño, born and raised in Los Charcos, San Francisco de la Paz, Honduras. Olvin is committed to expanding opportunities for Latino and first-generation students. As a student leader at Central Gwinnett High School in Lawrenceville, Georgia, he has transformed his experiences into a passion for service, leadership, and educational equity.

As President of the Hispanic Organization Promoting Education (HoPe), he leads initiatives that provide mentorship, scholarship resources, and leadership development for more than 150 students. Olvin also serves on the Gwinnett County Superintendent Student Advisory Council, where he advocates for student voices and equitable access to educational opportunities. His leadership experience spans, JROTC, Lawrenceville Legacy Leaders, HOSA, and community outreach programs, earning him recognition as JROTC Cadet of the Year, recipient of the HoPe Service Award, and a multi-year Honor Roll student. Through CHCI NextGen, he hopes to strengthen his leadership skills, deepen his civic engagement, and create lasting change for Latino communities across our nation.
