Tania Padilla

Tania Padilla is a first-generation Mexican American from Chicago, Illinois, passionate about uplifting and advocating for her community. She actively shares educational resources, Know Your Rights information, and current events through social media to empower others. At her school, Tania serves as President of the Latino Culture Club, Founder and President of Model UN, and a C.A.U.S.E. Ambassador, demonstrating her commitment to leadership and civic engagement.

CHCI NextGen has strengthened her leadership skills, met with fellow Latino changemakers, and expanded her understanding of public service and advocacy. Her experience reinforced her dedication to creating positive change and serving underrepresented communities. Tania plans to pursue a career in law and hopes to establish a pro-bono firm that provides immigration services to those in need. Her culture, community, and values have shaped her into who she is today, and it continues to drive her in her future and career.
