Destiny Trejo

Destiny Trejo, the eldest of three siblings, is passionate about uplifting the voices of her community and advocating for positive change. As a Simon Scholar, Lead Ambassador, and Founding President of her school’s Social Media Club, she has demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to empowering others. Destiny is especially passionate about mental health advocacy and believes that young people facing mental health challenges deserve greater support, understanding, and access to resources.

Through her Social Media Club, she uses digital storytelling to amplify student voices and encourage open conversations about mental health. By applying to CHCI NextGen, she hopes to strengthen her leadership skills and expand her ability to advocate for underserved communities. With a strong foundation in service and leadership, Destiny is committed to creating a more supportive and inclusive future for others.
