Isaiah Ortega

At 16 years old, Isaiah Ortega is a proud Ecuadorian student from a low-income household who is committed to academic excellence and community service. As a member of the National Honor Society, he demonstrates strong leadership, dedication, and a passion for helping others succeed. He aspires to become a software engineer and is especially interested in using technology to solve real-world problems and create opportunities for underserved communities. Through volunteer work and school involvement, Isaiah strives to make a positive impact while continuing to grow as a leader. He applied to CHCI NextGen to develop his leadership skills, connect with other Latino changemakers, and gain the knowledge and experience needed to advocate for his community and pursue his goals in technology and public service.
