Kiyana Fernandez

Kiyana Fernandez is a rising junior resided in Denver, Colorado where she plays volleyball and fights for all students’ voices to be heard about social issues! She applied for CHCI NextGen because she believes that every person should have a voice and the right to be heard. She also believes that the next generation will make a huge impact in the country, especially with the current issues going on. Kiyana comes from a low-income and single-parent household, which has taught her responsibility as well as the belief that every voice matters.
