Rafael Diaz is a dedicated student leader from Santa Ana, California, committed to community advocacy, athletic excellence, and youth leadership. As the proud son of immigrants his values are deeply rooted in family, perseverance, and pride in his cultural identity. Rafael has taken on leadership roles as team captain in sports, an active member of school clubs, and a driver in his own personal growth. He strives to create an impact in his community, advocating for underrepresented voices and ensuring they are heard and uplifted.

Given the opportunity to be a part of CHCI NextGen, Rafael is excited to connect with other passionate young Latino leaders and enhance his leadership skills.
