GUADALUPE ROMAN

Guadalupe Roman was born and raised in Dallas, TX. She is a first-generation senior at SMU where she is pursuing three degrees in Human Rights, Educational Studies, and Spanish. She currently works as a student assistant at the SMU First Generation Initiative and provides free college advising to low-income underrepresented students in Dallas ISD. This upcoming year, she will receive her Spanish teaching certification for K-12. In the future, she hopes to continue making an impact in the education space in Dallas and Texas.
